Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and supports client's services throughout their involvement with UVA's programs assuring the integration of supportive services across the total continuum of care

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Administers assigned Programs to include compliance with all Unlimited Visions Aftercare policies and State rules and regulations including licensure, billing, documenting, client care and satisfaction, and program design.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness in relation to work statements, goals, and performance measures and outcomes.
  • Consults with management and administrators of participating organizations and are service providers to evaluate progress of program and identify problems.
  • Works with community groups, organizations, health care industry, schools, government entities, and other special services to increase awareness of the Unlimited Visions Aftercare as a resource, develops collaborations and partnerships to extend programs and audiences including Memorandums of Understanding, Letters of Agreement, and potential contracting of services.
  • Assist with program development including curriculum and supplemental materials to include didactic information, experimental exercises, evaluation measures, and resources for primary and secondary target population.
  • Prepares and submits reports including status reports and funding source mandated reports after review and collaboration with personnel, evaluators, and management within required timelines.
  • Conducts Peer Review Quality Assurance following the Peer Review Q.A. Plan a designated by the Director of Programs.
  • Conducts staff trainings and departmental meetings with program staff to establish, delineate, and review program goals and objectives, policies and procedures, coordinate functions and operations between programs and departments and meet required training needs.
  • Conducts training sessions covering specified areas in substance abuse such as alcohol, drugs, and tobacco and other co-existing condition for professional and community education providing CEU credit when appropriate.
  • Respond to public information requests to explain services, trends, and other related public awareness needs within the scope of the Unlimited Visions Aftercare mission to include workshops, radio and television interviews, community meetings, and other organizational functions.
  • Promotes information on ATOD concerning intervention and prevention as well as treatment programs to school personnel, community organizations, and business community.

Qualifications for Position
  • Masters degree in behavioral health field or equivalent Preferred. 5 years experience of program management in behavioral health Maintain current LMSW, LCSW, LPC or LCDC license

Supervisory Relationships
  • Manages and directly and/or by designee supervises all employees in the Clinical, Prevention/Intervention, and Coalition programs. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these departments.

  • Knowledge of dual diagnosis treatment preferred

Youth Recovery Counselor (YRC) Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide direct services to assigned clients through clinical assessment, family counseling, parent coaching and individual counseling
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing family relationship problems
  • Facilitate and lead group and education sessions
  • Manage caseload and documentation
  • Develop engaged relationships with assigned clients to support long-term work with clients as indicated
